Naruto RP... yo
Sasuke was quiet. The rain poured down his face and it felt like it was cleansing him. And the musical pitter patter of the rain was soothing to his ears compared to Ino’s complaints. Sasuke endured it while he followed Kakahi sensei. |
Ino wasn't exactly ready for that. Hergroup consisted of Kakashi-sensei, Sasuke-kun, and herself. She didn't think she would be this lucky!
The rain was beginning to hinder Kakashi's vision as he brought the two students away from the lake, in search of shelter. Ino seemed over-joyed, despite the rain. He hadn't ever worked with Ino before, and wasn't quite sure if she was always like this or not.
"Ino," he said, "We're still on a mission. We have to keep watch.." The rain was certainly abnormal, and he didn't want to take any chances and have anyone get hurt.
"I know, I know..."Ino replied to Kakashi dully. It was obvious she wasn't really interested in the mission. She was almost alone with Sasuke...Only having one person in her way.
Still, she knew she had to focus at least a little on her mission. She looked over to Sasuke. "What do you think of the rain, Sasuke-kun?"
Sasuke said nothing for a bit. He thought about it. What did he think of the rain. The rain was like tears from heaven, tears he didn’t know how to shed. The rain was water drops that fell onto the tiniest corners, washing his pain away. The rain was the flood of memories that still haunted him in his sleep. Memories he refused to forget.
Then he blinked as he remembered where he was. He looked back and saw that Ino was worried that he had gotten quiet. He coughed and said, “erm… it’s nice, Ino.”
Ino looked over to Kakashi. "What about the other team, sensei? They better be out in the rain, too..." She coughed. "It's cold!! And I can't stand being so wet...”
Ino sneezed. "I can't stand being so wet!!!!!"
“Sensei…” Sasuke said as he jumped from branches to branches. “I don’t sound to be rude… but Ino has a point. We are all soaked and if we don’t find shelter soon, we will catch a cold. Getting sick in a mission is probably going to be a dangerous mistake.”
“Besides…” Sasuke continued… “Erm. Never mind.” Sasuke didn’t want to mention that it was distracting to see Ino’s clothes so wet and clinging to her body so.
Kakashi purposely ignored the awkwardness of Sasuke's last remark; he had finally spotted shelter. It was an old, abandoned farmhouse, dreary from both the rain and its own derelict condition. There was only a dark opening where a door should have been, the once brightly colored shuddered were grey and barely attached, and wood was scattered on the ground surrounding the house.
"I believe we can find some shelter in there."
Kakashi wasn't too convinced, however, that it was a safe place to stay, but he knew they had no choice. The kids were tired and wet, and it was probably just as, if not more dangerous to be outside.
